Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Residential Fire Safety e-learning platform. By accessing or enrolling in our courses, you agree to comply with these terms and any applicable laws and regulations.
Purpose of Training
Our e-learning modules are designed to support awareness, understanding, and professional development in fire safety. However, successful completion of a course does not in itself constitute competence or authorisation to carry out regulated fire safety work.
Application of Learning
Learners are responsible for applying training appropriately within their professional roles. Fire safety knowledge must be used in accordance with current legislation, workplace policies, and the limits of individual competence. Residential Fire Safety accepts no liability for misuse or misapplication of training content.
Definition of Competence
In accordance with Section 35 of the Building Safety Act 2022, competence is defined as possessing the appropriate skills, knowledge, experience, and behaviours to carry out a role safely and effectively. Learners must ensure they operate within the scope of their own competence and seek supervision or further training where necessary.
CPD and Accreditation
Where stated, courses may contribute to Continuing Professional Development (CPD). Formal recognition or accreditation by external bodies (e.g. IFSM, RoSPA) will be clearly indicated. Residential Fire Safety is actively pursuing accreditation to ensure our training meets nationally recognised standards.
Intellectual Property
All course content, visuals, and materials are the intellectual property of Residential Fire Safety and may not be reproduced, distributed, or modified without written permission.
Data Protection
User data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share personal information with third parties except where required by law or accreditation processes.
Amendments
Residential Fire Safety reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
